bio
Angela Simonelli has had a taste for the creative since birth. Writing, music, dance, drawing, painting, and theater were among her earliest loves, and they have proven to be the longest lasting of her romantic affairs thus far. In true Bostonian form, Angela has always taken pride in her education, serving as Editor-in-Chief of her highschool paper before entering UMass Amherst pre-English, and emerging 4 years later with a B.A. in English and a certificate in Professional Writing. A technical writer by day, Angela also satisfies her hunger for knowledge and words through her role as Boston Health and Beauty Examiner for Examiner.com.
In the past year, Angela has approached her creative endeavors with renewed determination to make them a central part of her daily life. Having poems and short stories published has been both a goal and an achievement. Angela is working dilligently to incorporate music in the quest to lead a more creative life by learning guitar, taking voice lessons, and writing songs. She sings for Boston party band Beantown Project and is always looking for new venues and opportunities to perform her original songs.
Angela loves the outdoors, all kinds of food, tattoos, thunderstorms, good friends, skydiving, and Oprah Winfrey. Her favorite flavor of icecream is peppermint stick; her favorite color is green; and her favorite feature of natural landscape is the ocean.
Angela lives on the coast, 20 minutes from the heart of Boston, with an ample collection of vinyl and novels, and a hole where her dog should be. She loves to receive feedback: please get in touch today!
